Measurements: Length is a little over 7 1/2 inches.

In fact, the width of the scoop makes it suitable for picking up a variety of dining products.
The mother of pearl handle, broadening slightly towards the terminal with a small rounded rectangular edge.
Hallmarked on the underside of the scoop: maker T&P; lion passant for sterling standard; monarch (Victoria just acceded); date letter D and anchor for Birmingham.
