Description : Large, rectangular with canted corners. The borders are gently sloping filigree wirework, openwork and diamonds, very finely crafted in typical Art Deco fashion. Scrolls and arcs of white light and shadow that gleam as the wearer moves and the light catches the various elements. The center of the bezel is an emerald-cut peridot of a lovely bright green. Platinum shoulders run down the sides of the gold hoop. Very pretty and versatile jewel to draw subtle attention to the wearer.

Marks and Metal: On the outside of the shank are two French marks, the shell and man's mask, indicating 14k gold (585) and platinum (950). There is a worn mark inside the shank that looks like a G. Since French jewelry was not commonly made in 14k during this period, it is possible that the marks were added later, but clearly they were assayed in France, where it was considered a domestic jewel.

Condition: Good with negligible wear commensurate with age. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
