Antique Art Nouveau ring. 18k yellow gold, pearl and chrysoprase. Made in France circa 1895-1905.

Measurements: US size 6.75. Weight is 3.3 grams.

Description : Long, navette shape, elongated along the finger for a more elegant and slim look. Shoulders fan into modelled fern-like foliage, the large leaves meeting in the center of the ring, as though grasping. Emerging from the fingers of the foliage is a small pearl on one side and a navette-shaped green chrysoprase gem on the other. These draw the eye in the length-wise description, adding to the elegance of design.

Marks: Typical of French jewelry of the period, a hallmark is to be found on the outside of the shank. It is somewhat worn, but looks like the French eagle head for 18k gold. We also tested the gold to ensure metal purity.

Condition: Good with minor wear commensurate with age. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
