Antique Victorian ring. 18k gold, diamonds and emerald colored paste. Made in France circa 1880's.

Measurements: US size 5.5. Weighs 3.1 grams.

Description : Small, pretty ring. Hoop forks on either side with the bezel in the form of two rows of stones passing one another. All but one of the stones are diamonds, the larger being Old European Cut and the smaller, rose cuts. The green paste adds interest and offers an organic feel - botanic or floral. Called Toi Moi in France to indicate the duality of the design. Very sturdily made. The stones appear to float in their setting, the effect aided by the double thin gold bands. Small but beautiful.

Marks: French Owl mark used to indicate 18k gold.

Condition: The gems, in particular the green paste are worn according to age and use. No damage was found. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
