Description: Navette shaped ring. A central navette-shaped amethyst of lovely deep purple color surrounded by a double border of diamonds with periodic stations of amethysts that seemingly flare out from the central stone, drawing the eye outwards and highlighting the deep purple color. The contrast between the amethysts makes the diamonds seem to sparkle and gleam all the more. The diamonds are continued on the tapering shoulders of the shank adding to the luxurious feel and complete look of the ring. Amethysts are set in yellow gold which forms yet another contrast as yellow and purple are complimentary colors so the narrow yellow gold mounts emphasize the color of the amethysts in a very subtle way. The strong design and large size of the ring make it a powerful piece of jewelry and a strong statement.
Marks: 14k engraved in the hoop.
