Antique Art Nouveau / Victorian pendant. Platinum, gold and diamonds. Made circa 1895 - 1910. <P><P>
Measurements: Weight is 18.0 grams. Just under 2 inches wide and same top to bottom. Total diamond weight is 4.91ct. <P><P>
Description : Classic Art Nouveau, late Victorian design with overlapping, swooping curves of platinum, set with diamonds. A pair of diagonal lines of diamonds swing freely and meet in a 'V' above the dangling diamond drop. The diamonds are set in platinum as was typical of the period and this is laid over a base layer of gold. <P><P>
A pair of loops through which a chain passes. The chain is a later addition and not an intrinsic part of the jewel. (included just for convenience of the new owner). The chain is also platinum. Workmanship is very good and aesthetic appearance stunning.
Marks and Metal: As is typical of this period, there are no hallmarks on the pendant. Metal was electronically tested to ensure purity. Chain is marked for 950 Plat. <P><P>
