Antique Victorian Napoleon III tie or stick pin. 18k yellow gold and natural pearl. Made in France by Paul Briancon, who was
the foreman directing the jewelry workshop of Rene Lalique between 1885 and 1905. The design is called 'Pepite', which means
Measurements: weighs 5.2g (without the catch) and is almost 2 3/4 inch long.
As the name suggests, the gentleman's tie pin is made in the form of a gold nugget
Marks: no marks were found which is not typical of French jewelry. Gold was acid tested to ensure metal purity.
