Antique Art Nouveau pendant. 14k yellow gold, diamonds, pearl and plique a jour enamel. Made early 20th century.
Measurements: approximately 2 inches long.
Classic Art Nouveau image with a woman in the center of the pendant and elongated, whiplash curves surrounding her. Plique a jour enamel with delicate pastel coloring of flowers with diamond centers. The woman wears a diamond band around her head and another diagonally extends her flowing hair across her shoulders. Bale is also diamond set. A pearl is suspended from the bottom.
The identical pendant is shown on page 70 of Antique Trader Jewelry Price Guide 2nd Edition, albeit with a small restoration, and given a value of $11175.00
Marks: 14k engraved on the back of the pendant.
Condition: good with negligible wear commensurate with age.
