Measurements: approx US size 7.5. Can be resized. Approx .35ct diamonds. Weighs 4.4grams.
Stylised scrolls and foliage. Diamonds set in silver as was typical of that period. One diamond has been replaced by a newer stone. Diamonds enclosed at the back, typical of the period. Gold detail to bezel and gold shank. Engraved openwork scrolling silver shoulders. While the ring has definate signs of age and wear, it is delightful to find a ring like this. Matches day or night attire, simple or sophisticated.
Marks: French hallmarks assure us that the gold is 18k. The owl mark might indicate a later assay than the date of manufacture.
Condition: this ring has certainly been worn during it's 200 or more year history. It still has a great pezaz and looks good on the finger. see 'photos for details.
