Description : Oval hoop earrings made of 18k yellow gold. The arching, broad band of the hoop with tubular borders in gold, is made to accommodate either alternating sections of diamonds and carved, fluted lapis lazuli, or entirely set with diamonds. There are 3 sections of lapis with a pair of diamond sections between them. Alternatively there are 3 sections of diamonds. The diamond sections are each composed of 3 rows of 3 diamonds (9 diamonds per section). Sections are alternated by pushing out the relevant insert and inserting the other one. They are firm and secure in the mount.
Clips are very comfortable to wear and allowing wearers without pierced ears to look good. Strips on back and in middle of clasps are in white gold. Boucheron quality speaks for itself - workmanship and gems are of the highest quality. The interchangeable sections make for a highly versatile jewel, wearable with any or every outfit, day or night. French, Parisienne chick at its finest.
Marks and Metal: There are a lot of marks on these earrings. They include the French eagle head mark for 18k gold, OR 750 (which also means 18k gold), Boucheron maker's mark lozenge. The lapis sections have serial number P36087 and the diamond sections have P35952.
Condition: Good with minor wear commensurate with age. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer. We have tried to show a combination of views with both the lapis-diamond and the purely diamond alternatives.
