Description : Classic, medium length, pendant earrings. Flower-form surmounts consist of a round cut aquamarine surrounded by a ring of Old Mine Cut diamonds. The French called jewelry of this form Marguerite or Daisy because of the shape. Small gold loops suspend the pear-shaped drops with their conforming shaped aquamarines, surrounded by diamonds. The drops swing and sway as the wearer moves. Color of aquamarine is a pretty cornflower blue and they are well-matched. The earrings are mounted on a gold mount of openwork raised grille, typical of late Victorian jewelry. Simple gold wires make it easy to insert the earrings and comfortable to wear. Workmanship is beautiful.
