Antique Victorian earrings. 15ct gold, turquoise and garnets. Made in England, circa 1860.  <P><P>
Measurements: A tad under 6/8 inch (1.75cm) in diameter. Weigh 5.5 grams together.<P><P>
Description : Perfect every day earrings that you can wear and forget to ever take off. Flower forms, with globe centers composed of cabochon natural turquoise, surrounded by a band of gold and then an openwork ring of alternating gold beads and oval garnets, set in gold collettes. Little golden balls with textured surfaces, immitating filigree of the Classic Revival taste. Wires are easy to insert and very comfortable to wear.    <P><P>
Marks: No marks, typical of English jewelry of this period. Gold was acid tested to ensure metal purity.    <P><P>
