Antique Victorian earrings. Natural red-pink coral, gold filled mounts. Made circa 1880.
Measurements: total of 2 3/4 inches (7.5cm) long. Weigh 7.1grams.
Gold wires with a secure clasp for pierced ears. Coral bar at the apex. Gold loops suspend a central cluster of coral enclosed at the top in a gold filled cone in 5 petals, much like a flower. On either side is a twisted gold bar suspenind a gold half-hoop below, with a series of rings and coils holding natural strips of coral. Large, but light so that they swing freely as the wearer moves. Extremely attractive.
Marks: none found.
Condition: good with minor wear commensurate with age.
