Antique Georgian Parure Gold Cannetille Turquoise Earrings Cross 5432

Antique Georgian / Restoration parure set - bracelet, cross pendant and day night pendant earrings. 18k gold and turquoise. Made in France circa 1819.

Measurements: earrings approx 3.25cm long not including wires; cross approx 4.5cm long, not including the loop; Bracelet stretches between 15.5 and 17.5cm long. Combined weight is 16.5grams. Note: ruler in 'photos is in inches.

All pieces are made with delicate wirework and granulation and set with cabochon turquoise flowers.  Cross consists of 6 round sections, the central being the largest.

Earrings are day-night: the pendant bottoms that are looped through the wires at the back of the surmount, can easilly be removed, so that the tops can be worn alone by day and the bottoms added for greater effect at night. Central gold flowers and scrolling foliage above a ring of exquisitely made granulated wirework globes that surround a ring of turquoise. The flower theme continues in the middle of the turquoise. Tops similarly designed.

Bracelet is made of a double network of finely interlace gold ribbon links. The bracelet can stretch at least two cm. The top of the bracelet is a round flower, consisting of cannetille work and turquoise identical to that of the earrings. Tongue in groove clasp.

Hallmarks: rams head facing left and lozenge marks.

Condition: good with negligible wear commensurate with age. See 'photos.
