Antique late Georgian natural coral and 14k gold earrrings ear pendants. Made circa 1820.
Measurements: approx 5cm / 2inches long. Weigh 8grams. Ruler in picture is in inches.
Top Drop or Day NIght earrings - can be worn with top and bottom together or tops alone for a simpler day-time look. Surmounts in the form of a leaf, gently curving and engraved detail. Easily removed bottoms swing from a loop as the wearer moves. In the form of an acorn like flower - possibly a fuschia. Lovely red, well matched coral. Original Victorian wires go through ear from the back, with easy to close clasp. Rich carving and full round shapes.
Marks: none as is to be expected of earrings of this age. Gold acid tested as 14k.
Condition: good with negligible wear commensurate with age. See 'photos.
