Gems are set in a wafer-thin layer of silver, placed above the gold mount, in order to show gems off to best effect. Sharp-tooth edges to colette settings with open backs. (see pictures).

Workmanship and design are wonderful. Nothing detracts from the fabulous, bright colors of the gems. We can certainly enjoy this real 'jewel' today as much as it was enjoyed over 100 years ago.

Marks and Metal: No marks. Gold was acid tested to ensure metal purity.

Condition: Good with negligible wear commensurate with age. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
