Measures: 7 1/4 inches (18.5cm) long. Weighs 26.0 grams. 5.0ct diamonds VS clarity and G-H color.

there is a wider and a narrower part (narrower with wide stations). The wider part is 7/16th inch (10mm) across while the narrower part is 3/8 inch (8mm) across.
Diamonds, offset by platinum, each gem set in an individual square mount, with filigree border, connected by fine loops to it's neighbours. This allows the sections gentle movement. After every 7 pairs of diamonds, there is a square section composed of a central large diamond, accent sapphires at the corners and more diamonds inbetween. There are 5 of these square sections. The sides are beautifully chased with scrolling patterns. Workmanship and quality are excellent. A safety chain ensures the tongue-in-groove clasp is more than safe. Like most jewelry of this period, the accent stones (sapphires) are man made.

Marks: 5719 on the tongue. Otherwise, none found. Metal acid tested to ensure purity.

Condition: Good with negligible wear commensurate with age. Please see enlarged pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions - we will do our best to answer.

.
