Antique Art Deco Bracelet. Platinum set with diamonds and emeralds. Made 1920's.
Measurements: 7 1/4 inches (18.5cm) long. Weighs 24.2 grams. Total diamond weight approx 6.72carats. Total emerald weight approx 0.56ct. Diamonds are G color.
A double border of finely set diamonds, articulated for flexibility and perfect fit and look. The bands of diamonds enclose an openwork pattern of diamonds and emeralds - a pair of diamonds alternating with a single emerald, all set at an angle to the borders, thus forming kite/diamond shapes. After every 6 such stones, there is an oval link, joined on the other side to a round circle of diamonds with a marque-set diamond in it's center. There is a tiny pair of loops with a safety chain (14k white gold) for additional security. The clasp forms a perfect extention of the design. The bracelet is lovely and slinky, the articulation/fine joints making for a smoothe fit around the wrist. This is typical fine Art Deco workmanship at it's best, using the best materials available. A luxurious item.
Marks: Like much antique jewelry, the platinum is not marked, but is guarranteed as such. The safety chain is marked 14k on the loop.
Condition: good, original condition with negligible wear commensurate with age.
