Antique / Vintage Art Deco ring. Platinum and 18k yellow gold with emerald and diamonds. Made circa 1930. Bought in Paris, France.
Measurements: approximately US size 5.25. Emerald 1.66ct (7.25X6.18X4.55mm); Diamonds .15ct.
Very strong geometric design with rectangles stripes and bands. The central stone is a wonderful emerald - bright, clear look. Bordered on either side by rows of single cut diamonds. The stones are set in platinum to show them off to better advantage. The main part of the shank is in yellow gold in a broad, solid band. It can easily be resized if necessary. The quality of the emerald is great and the look of the ring makes a strong statement. Makes a wonderful engagement ring with a difference.
Marks: marked both 18k and PLAT.
Condition: good with minor wear commensurate with age. Please see enlarged pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions - we will do our best to answer.
