Measurements: Weighs 40.60 grams. 5.3 X 4.2cm.

Neo Classic large mixed metal oval pendant brooch. The base and back are silver. The details and pin are 18k gold. The central section is a relief sculpted head of a woman in profile. Clearly Classic inspired - The central oval has a golden plaited border followed by a steep drop and then an outer border of silver with gold details and gemstones set in gold collettes. The stones on the left are garnets and those on the right are amethysts.

The back of the brooch is enclosed in silver. There is a long hook for suspending it from a chain and wearing it as a pendant. Alternatively, it can be worn as a brooch, using the hinged, c-clasp gold pin.

Marks: the pin has the French owl mark, indicating 18k gold of unknown origin.

Condtion: good with negligible wear commensurate with age. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
she would look quite at home in Ancient Greece or Rome, with her curling tendrils piled on her head. Her hair and neck are adorned with gold both red and yellow gold - a garland of flowers in her hair, long looping tear-drop earrings and a matching fringe necklace. This woman is monumental - exceptionally beautiful and goddess like in her appearance.

The quality of the workmanship and artistry is excellent. A seriously beautiful and well made brooch pendant to add to a serious collection or wear to add zest and interest to any outfit.
