Albert chain or Pocket watch fob that works perfectly as a necklace today. Double tightly woven chains seperating 3 enamel and gold disks and leading to a pair of tassles that support a key for winding a pocket watch and an enamelled locket. Enamelling is very much in the style of Falize, but we did not find any signature. Enamel with pale blue ground and multicolored birds in flight. Locket with small space on top and bottom for either a pair of portraits or lockets of hair. Typical watch fob clasp can be attached to higher or lower links depending on the girth of the neck.

Makes a wonderful highly original chain necklace.

Marks: the French eagle head mark is found in a few places indicating 18k gold.

Condition: generally good considering the age and delicate nature of the material. One of the disks shows stress to the enamel ground. Please see enlarged 'photos and do not hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
